Mermaids are all the rage!

I decided to make some mermaid nails. Dear god these take forever! I used 7 different colors!!

So lets see I started by painting my nails China Glaze Aquadelic, on the fingers with the 'plain' nails I put a layer of China Glaze Snow Globe and a layer of L.A. Girl Glitter Addict Nostalgic.
For the mermaid nails I used a large dotting tool and Sally Hansen Blue Me Away!, Lickety-Split Lime, and Sliver Sweep. And China Glaze Customs Kicks.

It took forever but I think it looks pretty rad. What do you guys think?

Blue and Gold

This isnt a very neat job. I rushed through it quickly and took off the striping tape too quickly, the best one is my ring finger. It looks gorgeous!

I used butter LONDON Slapper (been so into this color lately) and then China Glaze Blonde Bombshell. :)

*warning* self pity post

There wont be any nail polish posts from me in awhile. Trying to find a job and then after the interview it is magically filled and it is really weighing on me. Which doesnt help that being bipolar makes my depression worse. I see so many beautiful polish and it sucks that I cant buy any.I have zero money and even had to move in with my parents which I dont really mind. They are awesome. But I have seemed to be having a little bit of writers block in the creativity department. I do have an awesome simple mani that I will post picture of tomorrow. :) I know people come to my page for giveaway info and pretty pictures. I guess I just wanted to post a little something about me.

This is what I keep telling myself hahahaha.

These nails prove my awesomeness!

So over on facebook I am in a group called adventures in Stamping. Every Sunday they have a new challenge and todays was precious stones. So I did the coolest nails I could think of and it took hours! (mostly waiting to dry between layers),

I present Ocarina of Time Spiritual Stones!!!

For those of you not familiar with the series (shame on you) these lovely gems are from The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Starting on the right (yeah yeah I know this is the reverse order you get them in game) anyways, starting on the right we have Zora's Sapphire, Goron's Ruby and Koikri's Emerald.

Here is a picture of the real thing so you can see how awesome I did.

These nails took forever!!! The very first layer is Essie Sand Tropez and then a stamp from Bundle Monster plate BM16 with Cult Nails Power Thief to make the background look like wood. For the emerald I used Orly It's Not Rocket Science but all the other colors are mixes of like a gazillion other colors so I cant name them. Anyway I hope you like them!!!

butter LONDON Knackered

Over on berry polished's facebook you can post a picture for Fan Foto Friday. Love the idea and starting doing so. Here is a link to her facebook. Here is the mani I submitted.

I love butter LONDON polishes. They are the most expensive polishes I own. About $14 and I own 12!! But they really are such a good quality polish! They go on amazingly well, have a very fast drying time and just look stunning! And another plus is that they always have amazing sales! If you want one of their polishes sign up for their emails asap! They have 30% off sales all the time!

Anyways for this look I used one coat of China Glaze Sea Spray, two coats butter LONDON Knackered and the stamp is from Bundle Monster plate BM-205.

Hope you guys love it as much as I do!

My entry for Lacquerologist 6 month anniversary nail art contest!!

Congrats to The Lacquerologist on her 6 month blogiversary!!! Check out her blog here, she has awesome stuff! She is having a contest based on her abstract nail art challenge which I actually took part in and you can check out all the manis I did here on my facebook page.

For her contest I am submitting the manicure I did for Day 10 which was stripes!

Some of you may not think the fishtail mani is stripes but that is literally all you do to achieve this look is to, you guessed it, make stripes!!!

For this I used Butter LONDON Bossy Boots, Butter LONDON Slapper, and China Glaze Midnight Kiss.

If you want more info and to enter her contest click this link!

Congrats again to The Lacquerologist!!!

Dollish Polish Hero of Time

I can not explain my obsession with the Legend of Zelda. It is the most awesome video game ever. I must admit though that my love for the series started with Ocarina of Time, Ive tried to play the old games but I am so bad at them.

Anyways, on to the polish:

This is two coats of Dollish Polish The Hero of Time over two coats of Zoya Yara. The glitter goes on amazingly well no fishing or anything. Even after sitting for weeks I barely even have to shake it up! I was lucky enough to snag the Legend of Zelda duo from Dollish Polish.
You can check out more of her stuff here.
Her polishes are amazing but almost always sold out. So I recommend you stalk her facebook. :) Because her polishes are totally worth it! She even recently announced a Super Mario Brothers collection and it is totally rad.

3am I think I should get some sleep.

I love doing late night manis!
For the gradient I used Color Club Fashion Addict, China Glaze Aquadelic, OPI Extravagance, and a layer of Sephora by OPI Wild About Shimmer. The stamp is from Bundle Monster plate BM-209

Sorry for the blurry picture.

4th of July!!!!

I decided to paint my nails at like 2am this morning, but they still turned out great.
This is my favorite holiday. Awesome people. Awesome music. Awesome food and of course fireworks! Who doesnt love fireworks?! (Well our family dog isnt to fond of them.) And it is sunny!!! It almost always rains every year here in Washington state but it is gorgeous today!

For these nails I used China Glaze Riveter Rouge, Sally Hansen White On and OPI Yodel Me On My Cell. I used a very thin striping brush to make the lines of the flag and a little dotting tool for the stars.

Color Club Love Em/Leave Em

So I decided to wear this color for my interview. I also think my interview went really well. So I should hear back within a week. Fingers Crossed.

I love this color it is simple but gorgeous! And I can't stand to have my nails naked for that long. Now I am working on my 4th of July mani. I will post pictures soon.

Job Interview

I have a job interview Tuesday. Means I am going to have somewhat conservative nails. Im thinking Butter LONDON All Hail the Queen. :) So I am taking a break from the challenge I am doing until after.
