For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo

Today I have four gorgeous polishes from Aphrodite Lacquers Romes & Jules collection.
Who doesnt love Romeo and Juliet except when you really think about it the story is pretty fucked up. I mean Juliet was supposed to be like 13! But we all still get caught up in the romanticism of it all.

"From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose misadventur'd piteous overthrows
Doth with their death bury their parents' strife."

First we have Two Star Crossed Lovers. This polish is a gorgeous sheer purple base full of purple, white and holo glitters of different shapes and sizes. This polish also has a gorgeous shimmer to it that I couldnt capture.
Below is three coats of Two Star Crossed Lovers.

When I first got Two Star Crossed Lovers it reminded me of another polish from Aphrodite Lacquers. Papillon from her Printemps a Paris collection is very similar but as you can see below it has far less glitter and doesnt have varying shapes and sizes.
Below starting at the pinky is three coats of Papillion then three coats of Two Star Crossed Lovers and so on.

“Peace? I hate the word as I hate hell and all Montagues.”

Montagues is a black jelly polish filled with green, blue, purple and pink glitters. It was really nice that I didnt really have to fish any out to get every color of glitter on each nail.
Below is two coats of Montagues over Sally Hansen Black Out.

“These violent delights have violent ends
And in their triump die, like fire and powder
Which, as they kiss, consume”

Below we have Violent Delights. This polish is a white jelly polish with red, pink, white and purple glitters and although you cant see them well there is also some holo glitter in there. It was a little hard to get out more of the square shaped glitter but I was able to get out some of them.
Below is two coats of Violent Delights over one coat of Sally Hansen White On.

Below is three coats of Violent Delights on its own. I didnt really like it by it self because it seemed to go on streaky and if you dont let it dry between coats the glitter just gets stuck together in one place. :(

“For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo.”

And last but not least we have my favorite, Story of Woe.
Story of Woe is a bright purple jelly with lots of purple, blue and holo glitters. I love this one. It went on amazingly well!
