I know I have been slacking big time with my blog. Im sorry for that. I had my wisdom teeth taken out last week and I did not want to get up and pain my nails.
But while I was recovering I was still surfing all over the polish world within facebook and found a brand called You Polish. I had never heard of her people but her polishes looked AMAZING!!!
Here is a picture of her entire STARjelly collection. This is not my photo I took it from her etsy.

I fell in love with all of them. But since I had to take off work to get my stupid teeth out I could only afford one so I decided to go with STARdust.

Man this polish is gorgeous! It is a dark purple jelly polish filled with light pink stars, holo and iridescent glitters, squares and giant circles!!

I used just two coats of this magiacal polish! I did a very thin layer first and then a second thicker layer so I could fish out some of the larger  glitter. I have no compliants about this polish except that you have to kind of fish out the big circles all other glitter including the stars come out with every dip of the brush!

Make sure to go check out her Etsy HERE and her Facebook HERE.

I have noticed around the web girls have been sharing what they lug around in their purses all day. Sounds kinda fun so I thought I would share mine.

It is a glorious purse from Betseyville by Betsey Johnson.
I have had this purse FOR YEARS! My wonderful friend Megan gave it to me years ago.

First we have a bag full of goodies (more on that later) Excedrin because lord only knows the headaches that working in customer service cause. My super awesome Zelda wallet My favorite lip gloss from Bath and Body Works that is the perfect shade of subtle glossy red.
Gotta have my sunGs even though it shows up like once in a whole month. Then the best hand lotion ever invented BUYITNOW and of course Trident and my day planner.

And now what is in that green goodie bag!
Tooth brush and tooth paste. I need to restock my floss. Benefit Lipstick in Sugar Rush, Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Sugar Lip Treatment with SPF15, They're Real mascara by Benefit, High Beam and Posietint, That Gal, and Erase Paste all from Benefit Cosmetics. St Patrick's Day Mani

Super quick post tonight.
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and ugh. I feel like a chipmunk. And it sucks because I am super hungry for all the foods I am not supposed to eat! Ugh!

But I did feel well enough for a cute mani!
Now I know St Patrick's Day is kind of religious and shit but I know in America we just use it as an excuse to get totally wasted. Dont try and deny it.

So for this look I started out with a base of Lime Crime Milky Ways. Damn that polish is perfect as a base for things. I love it so much I might need a back up bottle.
For my ring finger I added two coats of Different Dimension Irish You Well which you can buy HERE. Next I used Chirality Katydid on my middle finger and pinky. Chirality makes some of the best holos and they are all basically one coaters. You can pick up some of your own HERE. And we all love one coaters! I then used OPI Live and Let Die for the stamps. The pinky stamp is Bundle Monster plate BM20 and for the middle finger I used plate BM03, And last but not least I used some striping tape and then added one coat of Chirality Kale. And what do you get? Perfect mani for St Patricks Day!
What do you think?

Frist things first. I am IN LOVE with pug dogs. They are so ugly they are cute. I wish I could get one so bad, but they have sooooooo many health problems. :( And no one likes that.

But seriously? What is not to love about these adorable little creatures?!

So for Christmas which was forever ago Lacey over at Penguin Polish gave me these rad pug dog decals. I dont know where she got them so you would have to ask her. But they are suupppppper easy to use.

First I started with Lime Crime Milky Ways. I might need a second bottle of this stuff. It is amazing! Then I added the Pug! After I cut it out and peeled it off the paper backing with some tweezers I laid it on the nail. *BE WARNED! DO NOT USE SECHE VITE WITH THIS! It makes them shrink. :(
Next I added the stamp! It is from Bundle Monster plate BM322 using Sally Hansen Forbidden Fudge. And last but not least I added the glitter, because cmon we all love glitter. It is China Glaze Blonde Bombshell.

I changed up the pattern a little so the nails werent exactly the same on both hands.

These are adorable and I love them! I need to invest  in more decals!

So I turned 25 on Sunday. I know. I am sooooooooo old now. Yuck. hahaha
but the gift giving started early because I got a package from one of my polish besties Lacey over at Penguin Polish. It was so sweet of her and a total surprise!!!  Look at all these awesome goodies!!! HELLO Zelda tin of mints!!! Also I have moved recently, because I am a big kid and really wanted to take a nap but my new room is so bright during the day so even the mask came at the perfect time!!

Ugh then I had to go to work.

But when I came home from work I had ANOTHER PACKAGE! I knew Missi was sending me something probably some of her new polish and you know Candy. But I opened it and polishes just kept coming out. Also an entire pound of confetti. Thanks Missi. -_- j/k

She got me a hilarious card and a pin that says Birthday Girl and then a crap load of polish, including China Glaze Wireless Holographic Top Coat, KB Shimmer Toucan Touch This, OPI Live and Let Die, Picture POlish Cosmos and she included her new Set It Free collection! Which I am going to be showing you right meow!

First this is 3 coats of Black Dahlia. It is a gorgeous charcoal purplish grey scattered holographic polish with hints of different colors reflected in the light, it also has silver micro holographic glitter and iridescent glitters in it.
This is like the one time there was sun in Washington so I was able to get an awesome picture. This polish is gorgeous! And this is with no top coat!

Next we have Stronger just two coats! Look at how glorious it is!!!!!

And last but not least we have Wide Awake. I cant even describe how beautiful this is. It is a light pink scattered holographic polish look at all the colors! SO BEAUTIFUL!

The Four Horsemen

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and See. Revelations 6:1

Today I have the entire Come And See collection to show you!
I bought this collection before I even saw swatches. I loved the theme and bought it as soon as it was for sale!

"And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquest" Revelations 6:2

As you guessed the first of the four horsemen is The White Horse: Conquest.
Now from like TV and stuff I always thought the white horse was pestilence and when she named her polish Conquest I had to dust off a bible and look that shit up. Hahaha.
This polish is a gorgeous it is a shimmery greyish white. And it is PACKED white holo shimmer!
Below is two coats of Conquest over one thin coat of China Glaze Pelican Grey.

"And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: to and power was given him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword." Revelations6:4

Next we have War, The Red Horse.
So this is a pretty rocking polish! Look at the gorgeous almost glass fleck in there that give it an  fiery glow. Below is two coats of War over one coat of OPI Wocka! Wocka!

"And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." Revelations 6:5-6

Damn I am pretty sure Famine the Black Horse is my favorite of the collection!
It is a black jelly polish jam packed with  wine, barley, and wheat colored glitter in hexes and circles!
I mean look how gorgeous this is. I know it is shitty lighting and I paint my nails at night mostly not that it is ever sunny here. But it is still gorgeous!

"And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. " Revelations 6:7-9

And last we have DEATH!!!! The pale horse. It is really weird because when I first saw this color I was like what? Light green? But after looking up some pictures of the infamous pale horse they all have a green tinge to them. Just look at the picture above.

This polish is full iridescent glitters in a shimmery pale green base. It is just so gorgeous. I dont even know how to describe it in words.
Below is two coats of Death over one thin coat of Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet.

What do you guys think of this collection? I fucking love it! like I said I bought it before I even saw swatches!
Go check out Tough As Nails Lacquers on Facebook HERE and make sure to go pick up some of her polish on her Etsy page HERE.

Dr. Seuss!!!

Today I have the entire Dr. Seuss collection from Above the Curve polish!!!
Above the Curve nail polish  are an amazing husband and wife team and they put a lot of hard work and love into the polishes they make.
If you havent read before a little back story on Above the Curve and what makes me love the brand even more is that when Angel was 12 she was diagnosed with a severe case of Scoliosis. She had a 72 degree curve and her spine was making her ribs twist into her heart and lungs! She was rushed into life saving surgery to fuse her spine. She was sent to Shriner's Hospital for Children and they did her surgery for free. And no matter how many times I read and write this story I always tear up. I can't help it. To know that Angel is alive and well with her amazing husband Shawn and her gorgeous kids just makes me smile.
Because Shriner's Hospital saved her life $1.00 from every bottle sold is donated to them. Anything to help repay them for the generosity they showed by saving Angel's life.

Now I am sure we have all grown up with Dr. Seuss, if not thats a little weird. Personally The Foot Book was the first book I could read all by myself. I was very proud. Hahaha. But of course I eventually read all of his books. And of course the polish is inspired by them!!

First up we have Green Eggs and Ham.

"I do not like them,
I do not like
green eggs and ham."

Green Eggs and Ham is a gorgeous forest green holo below is two coats, no undies and no top coat. Personally when I think of Green Eggs and Ham this isnt the color that comes to mind, I tend to think of a more almost lime green color. Still this polish is gorgeous and easy to apply.

Here we have The Cat in the Hat

"We looked!
And we saw him!
The Cat in the Hat!
And he said to us,
Why do you sit there like that?"

The Cat in the Hat is a dark blue jelly base filled with different shapes and sizes of red, black and white glitter, including my favorite! BIG HEX GLITTER!!!
Below is two coats of this polish all on its own. But be sure to wear a base coat with this polish because it does tend to stain.
P.S. Never watch the movie. It was terrible.

Now we have Fox in Socks.

"Fox in socks
on box on Knox."

Fox in Socks is red/orange jelly polish. When you only use one coat it looks orange which I didnt really like. (Orange doesnt look very good on me) but as I added coats of polish it became this gorgeous red with a beautiful shimmer to it.
Below is three coats of Fox in Socks with no undies and no top coat.

Now we have Horton Hears a Who.

"Thats funny, thought Horton. There's no one around.
Then he heard it again! Just a very faint yelp
As if some tiny person were calling for help"

Horton Hears a Who is a beautiful grey polish with pink glitter. Of course there is no sun out in Washington so it was really hard to capture the pink glitter so I tried to take a close up picture so you can get somewhat of an idea.
Both pictures below are two coats of Horton Hears a Who with no top coat.

Next we have The Lorax.

"What was the Lorax?
And why was it there?
And why was it lifted and taken somewhere
from the far end of town where the Grickle-grass grows?
The old Once-ler still lives here.
Ask him. He knows."

The Lorax is an amazing yellowy golden holo.

Also when I received The Lorax I thought it was going to look a lot like Aslan from Above the Curve's Narnia collection which you can view HERE but as you can see below Aslan is a much deeper darker gold than The Lorax. I figured if I thought this other people probably would to so I did a comparison shot.

Here we have Hop on Pop.
Hop on Pop is a sheer shimmery yellow base filled with small turquoise  medium orange hexes and BIG WHITE HEX GLITTER!!!!!
In the picture below I have two coats of Hop on Pop over two coats of The Lorax.

And last but not least we have my very favorite of the whole collection!!!
This one is called Oh, The Places You'll Go.

"You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go"

This polish is a white polish PACKED with pastel glitter goodness. Blue, green, pink, yellow, purple and iridescent glitters!
Below is two coats over one coat of Lime Crime Milky Ways.

What do all of you think of this collection? Are you planning on picking any up?
You can buy these on Above the Curve's Etsy HERE or their Big Cartel page HERE. Remember $1.00 from each purchase is donated to Shriner's Hospital for Children. Also go check out their Facebook page HERE to stay up to date on new colors, sales and giveaways!
