Pahlish Coney Island Queen

I have an amazing collection to show all of you. You have probably all seen it but it was a huge lemming and now it is finally mine!!! And these are my first polishes from this brand!

So below we have a the gorgeous Coney Island Queen collection. A six piece collection based on lyrics and style of Lana Del Rey and man I love her! So I just had to have it!

"Because I'm crazy, baby I need you to come here and save me
I'm your little scarlet, starlet singing in the garden
Kiss me on my open mouth"

This polish is a gorgeous creamy sage green base with darker olive colored glitter and some glass fleck. It applies perfectly in two coats.

"But he headed out on Sunday
Said he'd come home Monday
I stayed up waiting, anticipating and pacing
But he was chasing papers
Caught up in the game
That was the last I heard."

This beauty is called Anticipating and Pacing. I really thought this would be my least favorite of the collection but has ended up being one of my favorites. It is a gorgeous shade of coral with gorgeous blue glitter. Look perfect in two coats!

"God I'm so crazy, baby, I'm sorry that I'm misbehaving
I'm your little harlot, starlet, Queen of Coney Island
Raising hell all over town
Sorry 'bout it"

Yet another beautiful creation. And these polishes really do fit perfectly with their names.
This is a rich champagne cream base full of golden shimmer. The golden flecks are so beautiful!
Two coats for full coverage.

"She gives them butterflies, bats her cartoon eyes
She laughs like god, her mind's like a diamond
Audio tune lies, she's still shining
Like lightning, ohh, like lightning"

I love Mind Like a Diamond. It is a creamy greige with shimmering charcoal and taupe microflakes. Fully opaque in two coats!

"Pick me up and take me like a vitamin
'Cause my body's sweet like sugar venom oh yeah
Baby love me cause I'm playing on the radio.
(How do you like me now?)"

Now this might not be my favorite because it is not a shade of pink I would normally where. It is a very bright creamy pink filled with bright berry pink glitters. As well as every other polish in the collection this also goes on extremely well!

Last but not least we have His Favorite Sundress.

"Open up a beer
And you say, Get over here
And play a video game.
I'm in his favorite sundress
Watching me get undressed
Take that body downtown"

His Favorite Sundress is a creamy sorbet orange color with orange glitter sprinkled through out.

Now I have to admit this was my least favorite of the group. Application was a little iffy, I had to use three coats to get full coverage and even then some nails did not have as much glitter as the others.

Over all this is an amazing collection and I am so happy I was able to buy it before it was taken off etsy. Not happy that I waited so long. That was a mistake. hahaha but worth the wait for sure.

Sorry I have been posting much on my blog. I started a new job that has kept me pretty busy. But I still paint my nails almost everyday and you can see them by following my instagram account @brittanymoody

Florals are such a good way to brighten up rainy days.

So the past week or so it has been starting to get really gross outside here in Washington. Rainy and grey. I know, I know so stereotypical of this state.

About a month or so ago my friend Missi sent me some gorgeous nail mail and these nail wraps or whatever they may be called were included.
They are called Dashing Diva Design FX, at least thats what it says on the package. And what a gorgeous floral design!!!
It comes with 34 in all different sizes.

I decided to accent  them with OPI DS Extravagance.
They were super simple to put on. Almost exactly like the Sally Hansen ones but like 10x better.

I love these and I have a ton left over since I just cut most of them in half.  I will be using them again in the future! Stay tuned!

My Ten Friends 'In Space No One Can Hear You Scre--'

I have some super awesome polishes to show you guys today! I have to admit that I had myself a little happy dance. My Ten Friends is one of my top favorite indie brands.

This collection is callled In Space No One Can Hear You Scre--
How crazy awesome is that!?

So first up we have Alien Blood. I think this one is my favorite.
It has a darker jelly base and amazing bright clean square glitter. It looks amazing. And completely opaque with two coats.

Now this polish has a warning that is may stain but I wore it for two days and it didnt stain at all.

Next up we have Galaxy of Terror. I dont really know the real idea behind this one but it makes me think of Event Horizon which is my favorite sci-fi horror OF ALL TIME!

'We don't need eyes where we're going'

Sorry. Off topic.

This gorgeous polish is in a really dark grey jelly base full of  different shapes and sizes of red, silver and holo glitters. Even shard glitter!

This polish covers perfectly with two coats and it goes on very smoothly.

And last but not least we have Vampire Planet.
This polish is soo fun.
I was watching Resident Evil today and this polish totally reminds me of the coagulated blood.

This polish is an amazing purple polish packed with micro silver glitter and black hexes.
Now this polish is pretty thick and you may choose to thin it out a little. So it was a little tricky to use, I only used one coats for this polish with a little bit of dabbing. This is the second favorite of the collection.

This collection will be available tomorrow Tuesday 10/15/13 at 10:10am PDT.
You can buy even more of My Ten Friends polish at
and also make sure to follow My Ten Friends on Facebook for up to date info on restocks, new polishes, and giveaways.

Different Dimension Fall Collection Part 2

Now for part 2 of Different Dimension's fall collection. You can see my review of part one here

First up we have Cranfairy. Below is two coats and dont mind the smudge. Cranfairy is a power packed cranberry/raspberry jelly base exploding with tons of awesome!! All sort of gorgeous and different shapes of pink glitters. It is thick and coats like a dream. Only two coats for full coverage!

Now we have my second favorite of the collection, Mystified! This is a gorgeous glitter topper.
I layered it over Picture Polish Demeter.

The polish is filled with pink and brown and gorgeous caramel colored glitter.

And of course I just had to add a matte top coat!! I used OPI Matte Top Coat!
Now this next one is my least favorite. It is called Scarlet and Grey Remix. I think I liked the original better. You can see swatches here

This polish is a clear base filled with lots of red, grey and white glitters. I love the circles in this one but the original had giant hex glitter! And those are my favorite!
I layered two coats over Cult Nails Crusin' Nude.

Last but not least we have my FAVORITE of the season! Lucid Dreams is its' name!
And what a dream it is.

And the way Missi described it is perfect: "perfect nudeish glitter crelly".
And it is perfect. I used two coats for perfect coverage. I did add a thick coat of top coat though.

This polish is full of gorgeous shades of gold glitter in different shapes and sizes, all within a gorgeous crelly nude base. Awh I just love it so much!

So which ones are you thinking of picking up? Obviously I would recommend Lucid Dreams. Hahaha but you can check out all of these in the Different Dimension shop HERE. And make sure to follow Different Dimension on Facebook and you can follow Missi on instagram @missibarry.

Different Dimension Fall Collection, Part 1

I know all you crazy holo addicts are ecstatic over the first part of Different Dimension's new Fall Collection.
Get your credit cards ready!!!

First up we have Chocolate.
It is a gorgeous warm brown holo. Two coats is all you need to use with this beauty.

I think it is safe to say that Chocolate is my favorite for this half of the collection.

This gorgeous purple is for all you fantasy lovers. This one is called Dueling Unicorns and I think the name fits perfectly!
Same as with Chocolate you only need two coats for full coverage.

I was so happy that we had sun coming in through the windows the day I was swatching this. Look how well it catches the sun!

Now here is my second favorite of the collection. Nessie's Revenge. This is a BRILLIANT GREEN!!! I have so much love for this polish!!!!!!!!!

It doesnt go with as many outfits as Chocolate does but it is hard to resist. I feel this is what seaweed would look like if you were a mermaid in a magical Disney version of life.

And last but not least we have Lucky.
Lucky is a gorgeous magenta holo. Pink is not my favorite color but this is a pink lovers dream.

Sorry the above picture is a little blurry, I was trying to capture the awesomness.

And there you have it! The super awesome holo part of the new Different Dimension fall collection!!!
Stay tuned for part 2!

Different Dimension, Silenced the Lambs.

Missi's genius strikes again! Her Halloween collection is based on one bad ass movie.
The Silence of the Lambs.
I know a lot of you youngins havent seen this movie.
Yes I know it is from the early 90's but still awesome!

First we have It Rubs the Lotion On its' Skin.
Hahahaha I just love that line, but the polish is gorgeous!

It Rubs the Lotion on its' Skin is a black almost crelly polish? I am not quite sure but it is a very dark color and it is filled with orange micro glitter. And some gold micro glitter. You get full coverage in two coats and as you can see in the picture above the polish dries matte.

I think that once you add a top coat it really brings out the sparkle. I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. It is the best top coat in my opinion. Dries faster then SV and no shrinkage. This polish is my favorite out of the whole collection.

Next up we have an awesome glitter topper named Have the Lambs Stopped Screaming?

This polish is full of different shapes and sizes of red, orange, yellow, back and white glitters all inside a clear base that has a hint of holographic dust.
In Missi's description she says it reminds her of a deconstructed monarch butterfly, and I agree completely!
In the picture below I put one coat over It Rubs the Lotion On Its' Skin.
The only shapes  I needed to fish out were the stars, but well worth the extra fishing.

Good Evening Clarice is a ghostly pale green holo polish. It is so gorgeous bit takes at least three coats for full coverage.

It tries with a bit of a sandy texture, but not what I would actually consider a texture polish.
I used added a top coat and it was perfect!

And I think we should all know by now that glow in the dark polishes show up a lot in the Different Dimension world.
Now I take my pictures with my iPhone and for the life of me I can NOT capture the amazing glow!

I found this picture on google by The PolishAholic. It literally glows that bright!!!!

And last but not least I think we have the winner of the polish with the longest name ever!

This polish is named, are you ready for it, I Ate His Liver With Some Fava Beans And A Nice Chianti.
Hahaha so long!
But the polish is super fun, it is packed full of green, black and purple glitters and the same as Have the Lambs Stopped Screaming, they are all in a clear base that has a hint of holographic dust.
And same as before the only glitter I had to actually fish out were the stars. I love that there are holo, matte and glitter packed in this bottle!

Over all I am very impressed with this collection, not that I have yet to be disappointed by a Different Dimension polish. Make sure to check out this collection on Different Dimension's ETSY, FACEBOOK and follow her on instagram @missibarry
